My activity
My PhD project focuses on the evolutionary mechanisms of Echinometra spp. within the Coral Triangle of the Indonesian archipelago, a key biodiversity hotspot in the Indo-West Pacific. I aim to understand how environmental, oceanographic, and historical factors shape their genetic diversity, population structure, and connectivity across their range. Using population genomic and biogeographic approaches, I analyze Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) through bioinformatic analyses to reveal the evolutionary and adaptive processes underlying this marine species complex.
