I am currently a PhD student as part of the project ARCHAIST “Impact of Environmental and Societal Changes on the Hunter-Gatherer Societies of Southern Thailand” led by Corentin Bochaton. My research focuses on studying the impact of environmental and societal changes on the lithic material production of past hunter-gatherer societies in southern Thailand. The aim of my PhD project is to understand how hunter-gatherer populations evolved and adapted over the last fifteen millennia in response to significant environmental changes, such as the Pleistocene-Holocene climatic transitions, and societal transformations, including the processes of neolithization. By employing both technological and traceological analyses, this research investigates the evolution of material productions in archaeological human populations and situates them within their ecological, environmental, and societal contexts.
