My main research interests are the environmental impact of past human populations in the tropics and the study of the interactions between humans and animals in the prehistoric societies. My specialty is the study of the reptile and amphibians past faunas from the Late Pleistocene and the Holocene in the insular Caribbean and Southeast Asia. My research is at the crossroad of Quaternary Paleontology, Zooarchaeology, and Evolutionary Sciences.
