The Summer School brings together around one hundred students from eight Master’s programmes: Integrative Biology of Interactions (B2I), Integrative Study of Parasitic and Infectious Disease Emergence (EI-EPI), Infection Biology, Cancer Biology, Plant–Microorganism Interactions (IPM), Contaminants, Water and Health (CES), Microorganism–Host–Environment Interactions (IMHE), and the Master’s in Teaching, Education and Training (MEEF), Water and Health pathway. It also provides an opportunity to welcome several speakers who are specialists in these fields.
Over two days, the Summer School offers a rich and stimulating programme featuring lectures, poster presentations, workshops and discussion sessions centred on two major scientific and societal challenges: the exposome and health ecology.
Master’s Year 2 students and PhD candidates from the University of Montpellier will have the opportunity to:
– gain a better understanding of the scientific issues surrounding the exposome and health ecology,
– engage with researchers,
– discover different careers in research,
– meet local research teams,
– share their work,
– explore new approaches to science communication through graphic facilitation,
– discover an Arts & Science approach with a storyteller,
– broaden their professional network in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.
