The Documentation Centre is structured around 4 missions:
– the promotion of scientific production with referencing, bibliometric analysis and display via the unit’s website
– support for research teams for Open Access publishing and the dissemination of scientific production in the framework of the national plan for Open Science
– support for authors for the dissemination of publications on the national HAL open archive server, information monitoring and monitoring of the HAL-ISEM collection of the HAL-UM institutional portal
– training and advice on the use of electronic documentary resources as well as the search and supply of documents not available internally
– the development of the internal documentary structure specialized in Biology-Ecology-Evolution via the BIU Montpellier catalogue.

The resources of the ISEM documentary collection are integrated into the BIU Montpellier catalogue, which can be consulted via the BIUM portal. Access to resources by appointment.
