My activity

My main research interests lie in the evolution of mammalian social behaviour and heterosexual relationships. Currently, using both observational and experimental data from the only habituated wild population of mandrills, my work aims to shed light on the cooperative and coercive nature of socio-sexual relationships and the hierarchical structures’ shaping primate societies. My interdisciplinary background spans the field of theoretical Mathematics and theoretical Computer Science to studies of animal acoustic communication and sexual selection.
