I am working on modeling trophic relationships in polyculture systems in ponds. The aim of this work is to develop more efficient and sustainable polyculture systems, specifically by proposing scenarios that improve the efficiency of resource use and nutrient recycling in fish farming systems. To achieve this, I am using a modeling approach that combines species simulation in an iterative manner. The most efficient and sustainable systems identified through the simulations will be tested and validated in real pond environments. Additionally, I am working on formulating a feed that optimizes the performance of the polyculture system, ensuring both fish growth and primary productivity are enhanced. Implementing this approach will have the potential to reduce unutilized effluent in the pond, leading to more environmentally friendly.
