My activity

My research work focus on community and disturbance ecology, and aims at characterizing mecanisms structuring biological communities and processes implied in their response, and resilience, to anthropogenic disturbances. Between field ecology and molecular ecology, I am specialized in the development and application of environmental DNA approaches to investigate the consequences of human activities on biodiversity and their impacts on the ecosystem functioning. I develop this thematic within various research projects which currently include trophic ecology of large herbivores, ecological restoration and coastal ecosystem management. At ISEM, I am currently leading a Marie Sklodowska Curie project, in collaboration between CNRS and CSIRO (Australia), for developing new tools based on environmental DNA methods for managing coastal environments.
