I am interested in understanding the evolutionary history of the different kind of vessels (blood and lymphatic) found in vertebrates. In my postdoctoral studies, shared between Uppsala and Montpellier, I characterize the vessel composition of the lesser spotted catshark, and identify evolutionary conserved markers of endothelial identity.
