My activity
I study biodiversity at different scales. My research focuses on community ecology and ecological interactions. I try to understand what factors structure communities depending on the context. During my PhD, I studied the biodiversity of flower-visiting insects in the Ferlo region of Senegal, across seasons and restoration gradients. My research at ISEM focuses on the analysis of data from freshwater ecosystems collected in Guyana, Cambodia, Côte d’Ivoire, and Guadeloupe for the EU-funded B-COMING project. The aim is to establish patterns of aquatic biodiversity across different gradients. Therefore, I compare community diversity at different scales, from site-level sampling to global scales.
