I am interested in the genetics and evolution of sexual systems, with a focus on species with separate sexes in both plants and animals. I am also involved in multidisciplinary projects exploring the theme of “sex and gender”. Finally, I continue to develop scientific collaborations with Portugal, where I worked for seven years.
