My activity
My research contributes to the general goal of human evolutionary biology, applying to human traits the tools and concepts of evolutionary biology. My current interests include the genetic and behavioural mechanisms of local adaptation to environmental risks, the consequences of obstetrical practices on the physiological mechanisms of birth, the relations between pain and economic vulnerability.
