My activity
I joined the team Phylogénie et évolution moléculaire (PhyloEvolMol) as a post-doctoral researcher in January 2024. My research work focuses on understanding phenotypic evolution (mainly morphological), from an adaptive perspective.
I am currently working on the Papilionidae family (~640 species), as part of the ERC GAIA project, which one of the main research axes is to study the diversification factors at the scale of the Papilionidae family via an integrative approach. My research focuses on the possible link between diversification change and phenotypic disparity, mediated by abiotic and biotic environmental factors. I am also very interested in identifying the dominant selection pressures driving the evolution of wing shape at macro-evolutionary scale, as well as coevolution and adaptive syndromes questions.
I mainly work on wing shape, which I study through geometric morphometrics and comparative phylogenetic analyses.
