My activity
My research activities are focusing on the evolutionary biology of host-parasite interactions with a focus on vector-borne diseases and public health issues. To do so I am merging lab, field, and theoretical approaches with the aim of better understanding the potential impact of novel tools (transgenic mosquitoes, gene drive, …) on the epidemiology of vector-borne diseases (malaria, dengue,…). I am also interested in science communication and the relationships between scientists, their object of study, and the public, especially when it concerns innovation and technology in entomology, pest control, and public health.
