My activity
My main research topic focuses on the diversity and evolution of a recently emerged aquatic virus, Cyprinid herpesvirus 3, which has recently emerged and causes high mortalities in carp farms. The objective of this work is to better understand its virulence pathways and spreading modes in traditional fish farms in Southeast Asia. Attracted by new technologies, I devote part of my research time to the development of innovative molecular solutions for the diagnosis of microorganisms, in partnership with SMEs. I am also co-responsible for a Master module of Montpellier University entitled BILL (“BioInformatics Learning Lab”).
