My activity
My PhD focuses on the study of biotic turnovers and associated climatic changes during the Late Cretaceous/Eocene period in the Middle Atlas of Morocco. My research is multidisciplinary and my objectives are to: 1) document charophyte floras, dinosaur, mammal, selachian and reptile faunas, 2) take part in their taxonomic study, 3) integrate this fossil record into a chronostratigraphic framework by means of chemostratigraphic analyses, 4) describe the depositional environments, and 5) discuss the biotic changes during the Cretaceous/Paleogene boundary and through the hyperthermal events of the Eocene from regional to continental scale.
