The Environmental changes, spatio-temporal dynamics, eco-evolution (CHANGE) scientific department brings together four ISEM research groups: EEC, BioDICée, Evolution & Demography and Paleontology. The work of the department focuses on the study of the spatio-temporal dynamics of biodiversity, past and present. The research effort focuses more specifically on the eco-evolutionary response of biodiversity to environmental change, combining a variety of approaches, scales and study organisms. This work takes place in the current context of global change and biodiversity crisis.
