Plant phenotyping facility

The “Plant Phenotyping” technical facility is dedicated to the observation, measurement, and analysis of plants’ visible and functional characteristics. It is equipped with specialised instruments such as binocular magnifying glasses, a microscope with a camera, a precision balance, an oven, a desiccator, and a seed cabinet. These tools enable the study of morphological, physiological, and reproductive traits (size, fresh and dry biomass, fruit number, etc.), as well as the identification of plant species and their pollinators.
