The many collaborations underway with other research units in Montpellier and elsewhere in France contribute to strengthening and structuring biodiversity science research while providing gateways for interaction with other disciplines.
The Institute of Evolutionary Science of Montpellier (ISEM – University of Montpellier, CNRS, IRD, EPHE, CIRAD, INRAP) has been focusing research on biodiversity origins and dynamics and the associated evolutionary mechanisms.
