Within the Terrestrial Animal Zootechnics (ZAT) facility, I participate in the management of the insectarium (organization, monitoring of consumable stocks) and I maintain several strains of Culex pipiens resistant and sensitive to insecticides. I monitor and control the purification of these strains by enzymatic starch gel electrophoresis. In addition, I am working within the EVAS research team to implement various experimental activities: I carry out toxicological tests on mosquito larvae (dilution of insecticide solutions, application and analysis of results); I perform genotyping (PCR) after DNA extraction and agarose gel electrophoresis; I also do enzyme activity measurements on a spectrophotometer.
