I participate in the management of the insectarium (organization, monitoring of consumable stocks) and I maintain several strains of Culex pipiens resistant and sensitive to insecticides. I monitor and control the purification of these strains by enzymatic starch gel electrophoresis. I carry out toxicological tests on larvae (dilution of insecticide solutions, application and analysis of results). I perform genotyping (PCR) after DNA extraction and agarose gel electrophoresis. I also do enzyme activity measurements on a spectrophotometer.
