My activity

I am interested in characterizing spatial structure, connectivity, and stability of ecological populations in dynamic ecosystems. Particularly, I explore these patterns at the within-population level, for example, life stages, age groups, and body size groups. I use linear models, nonlinear methods and simulations to tackle these questions. Currently, I am a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow at ISEM, working with Dr Vasilis Dakos. My project is to track changes in the stability of exploited marine fish populations over time and across space, using approaches that take into account the state-dependency of population dynamics. With these results I aim to develop an online interactive stability map to facilitate fisheries management.
