My activity

My research is conducted in Côte d’Ivoire (CI), in the field of hydrobiology and aquaculture. It focuses on the domestication and identification of hybrids resulting from the crosses between Coptodon zillii and C. guineenesis, as well as the breeding of tilapia Oreochromis niloticus in an integrated agriculture aquaculture system known as aquaponics. Furthermore, given the proliferation of these hybrids in the Ebrié Lagoon in southern CI, I am conducting studies on their genetic characterization. I have also investigated the larval breeding of the catfish Heterobranchus longifilis and the parasitic prevalence of the fish species Chrisichthys nigrodigitatus depending on the breeding systems. I am a recipient of the Schlumberger Faculty For The Future Award, which allows me to deepen my knowledge of aquaponics at ISEM, as part of the AQUADIVE team. I am also the President of the Association of Female Researchers and Teaching Researchers in CI. Then President of the Association of Comparative Education and Exchanges CI office.
