My thesis focuses on identifying the genomic basis of local adaptation in the pathogenic fungus Pseudogymnoascus destructans, the causative agent of white-nose syndrome in bats.
To do this, I am analysing the complete genomes of the two species of Pseudogymnoascus destructans, combining bioinformatic tools and population genomics analyses. More specifically, my thesis focuses on local adaptation to temperature and host specialisation.
