I work on the eco-evolution of metacommunities and meta-food webs in complex spatial contexts and under global change. Particularly, my PhD aims at understanding how the eco-evolutionary dynamics of meta-food webs unfold in typical aquatic riverine compared to terrestrial landscapes. To this end, I use microcosm experiments with different species of freshwater protists, and supplement these experiments with theoretical models.
