After completing my PhD at ISEM under the supervision of Allowen Evin as part of the ERC project DEMETER, I am continuing my research as a postdoctoral fellow in the same project. My work focuses on the evolution of domestic species in the northwestern Mediterranean basin. I analyze geometric and classical morphometric data, mainly based on sheep, goat, and pig teeth. I seek to identify evolutionary mechanisms, particularly selection, to assess the importance of environmental and socio-economic factors in the diversity and evolution of morphometric variation. I also compare the morphometric evolution and the identified evolutionary mechanisms of different species.
