As a research assistant, I primarily support research on the theme of biological invasions focusing on coastal marine species and their interactions with resident species in natural and artificial habitats (e.g., ports). My role is to assist researchers by combining data analysis, field observations and sampling, ex- and in-situ experiments, and molecular analyses (e.g., environmental DNA analyses).
I am currently working on a project in collaboration with the French Biodiversity Office to assess the use of environmental DNA for monitoring non-native marine species.
