I’m a doctoral student. Currently, my work is focused on paleovegetation and paleoclimate reconstruction of the Holocene in two regions of the Central Cerrado in Brazil, based in the analysis of pollen and charcoal particles of sediments. The results of this research will provide new information about the landscape dynamics in the Cerrados in response to climate changes, thus, helping to improve climate prediction models as well as the basis for the development of future managements plans for the Cerrado conservation.
