My work focuses on the evolution of the genetical determinism of sex (sexual chromosomes) in Silene acaulis. For this project, I try to determine if this species have sexual chromosomes and I aim to better understand the formation of such gonosomes. The other aim of this project is to study the impact of the sexual system on the adaptation of this dioecious species facing climate change.
