Work interests

I am particularly interested in Phylogenomics, Comparative genomics, and systematics.
With the rise of the genomic era, I am implicated in project including both Hight Throughput Sequencing (Illumina) and Third generation sequencing (Oxford Nanopore Technologies).
Then, using different bioinformatic methods, in particular to generate high quality genomes, my research aims to understand the links between ecological traits and molecular evolution thanks to both phylogenomic inferences and comparative genomics.

Additional roles and responsibilities :

– Member of the ISEM Council 2018-2020
– Representative of the PhD students 2018-2020

The Institute of Evolutionary Science of Montpellier (ISEM – University of Montpellier, CNRS, IRD, EPHE, CIRAD, INRAP) has been focusing research on biodiversity origins and dynamics and the associated evolutionary mechanisms.
