I am a paleoecologist interested in the impact of disturbances on ecosystems facing global changes. My research focuses on the effect of fire on forest dynamics under climate variations and human activities. During my PhD, I examined fire patterns over the Holocene (~last 11,000 years) in Fennoscandian boreal forest systems. I explored the correlation between fire regimes, climate variations, and land use.

Currently, I am involved in the FIRELANDES collaborative project with the University of Montpellier and the University of New Mexico, where I simulate forest and fire dynamics in the Landes de Gascogne using LANDIS-II and paleoecological data to better understand past and future fire–vegetation interactions.
