The Institute pursues a proactive open science policy, ranging from data sharing to supporting journals that are cost-effective and\/or associated with non-profit academic institutions. Accordingly, ISEM publishes and hosts two international peer-reviewed free open-access journals\u2014Palaeovertebrata and MorphoMuseuM\u2014while actively supporting the Peer Community In initiative, thereby highlighting the feasibility of generating high-quality, open-access scientific publications without reliance on professional
