Mayoral, A. Garcia-Molsosa, ICAC), focusing on coastal cultural landscapes and socio-environmental interactions in Thrace (northeastern Greece) throughout the Holocene. The project is carried out in collaboration between ICAC and ISEM and includes a research stay within the ArcheoPal research team. Using a multiproxy approach that integrates pollen analysis, non-pollen palynomorphs (NPPs), sedimentary microcharcoal analysis, and geoarchaeological and archaeological data, my research aims to reconstruct the evolution of coastal landscapes in the territory of the ancient Greek colony of Abdera. It seeks to understand how environmental changes, land-use practices, and processes of cultural contact, mobility, and colonization contributed to their transformation throughout the Holocene."}
