These strategies, used to accelerate adaptation to climate change often target long-lived species with complex life cycles (trees, corals, alpine plants) which for distinct stages show a different ecology and sensitivity to climate that complicates predictions on the consequences of these assisted gene flows. My research aims to evaluate the impact of these practices and to optimize these strategies by developing a new class of models (Integro-Projection Models) that integrate both the evolution and the demography of the populations for which assisted gene flow is considered."}
