My project (SPUR) is funded by the ANR (Access ERC program) and aims to assess how human management has progressively shaped domestic equids over the last millennia. I study bone structure, examining it both externally and internally (notably through 3D geometric morphometrics and microanatomical studies) with particular interest in morpho-functional investigations. The objective is to better understand how equids where used, managed and bred in the past, and how they have in turn deeply influenced human history.
