After more than ten years of responsibilities as a veterinary and veterinary officer (ISPV), since 1999, I have focused own activity on fish pathology and aquaculture particularly in tropical countries (Vietnam, Indonesia, Ghana and Cameroon amongst other). In this field, I conducted studies and expertise on descriptive and analytical epidemiology (risk factors) of enzootic fish diseases aiming to provide guidance for better health management of aquaculture. Others fields of expertise and studies focus on the use of plants for herbal therapy, ethnobotany and fish immunology. I have participated and led for IRD various projects on the sustainability and ecological intensification of aquaculture, organizing an international conference on the matter in Indonesia.
