My work consists in isolating and maintaining strains of a half-animal/half- fungus freshwater fish parasite named Sphaerothecum destruens or Agent Rosette in order to study the genetics and virulence of these strains in its asymptomatic carrier host Pseurorasbora parva, an invasive species, and in susceptible native species. This work is part of an ANR (DRIVE).
